The Byers house from Stranger Things has gone on sale, and it won’t even cost you much.

It belongs to Joyce, Jonathan and Will in the iconic sci-fi series which finally returned for Season 4 this year after a three year gap.

Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, Noah Schnapp and many more reprised their roles in the two-part season that came out in May.

The famous home, located in the fictional town of Hawkins, featured in the first few series’ of the show, and the Zillow listing is amazing.

The house went on sale on Monday (Sept 19) for just $300,000, which may seem cheap for a movie set home, but it needs a lot of work.

Built in 1900, the 6.17 acre home is certainly in need of some restoration, with ancient walls, flooring and a crumbling wooden exterior.

It’s located in Fayetteville, Georgia, which is where the popular sci-fi series was filmed, although the show is set in Indiana.

As revealed by TMZ, it’s owned by seven siblings who were approached by the Duffer brothers in 2015 as they wanted to use it for Stranger Things.

Now, the owners want to sell the property to someone who wants to restore it, although it’s more likely to be listed on Airbnb as a Stranger Things experience.

On Zillow, the funny house listing even follows a Stranger Things theme, using Demogorgons and creepy red filters in the photos and the famous title font.

“Ever watched Stranger Things on Netflix?… Are you fan?… THIS is the original Byers house! That’s right the home of Will, Joyce, and Jonathan Byers,” the description says.

“How cool would it be to own the infamous Stranger Things house? Don’t get stuck in the upside down though, this home does need a full rehab,” it continues, making reference to the show.

The first image is even taken from the series, when Joyce hangs Christmas lights around the home to help search for Will in Season 1.

Zillow adds that the house gets a “lot of attention,” saying the owners had to put up a “private property” sign to stop people from trespassing

“P.s. Do not feed the Demogorgon!!” the hilarious listing ends.

Whilst the possibility of being able to stay in the Byers house if it becomes a holiday rental is amazing, Stranger Things fans are really sad.

The Duffer brothers have revealed that the next season, Season 5, will be the last, and the Byers house sale is making things even more real.

Many hoped that despite Joyce, Jonathan and Will moving out of the home in Season 3, it would feature one last time in the final series.

However, the house going on the market proves that won’t be the case, marking the end of the an era for Stranger Things fans.

One person wrote on Twitter:

the byers house being put to sale made me realize that we are so near to the end of stranger things and all of this

last season and we won't be able to see the byers house

does the byers house being up for sale mean we won’t get any scenes there in s5 …

WAIT BYERS HOUSE NOT RETURNING SEASON 5??? I KNOW IT GOT SOLD OR WHATEVER WHEN THEY LEFT BUT THIS IS SO SAD 😭

Stranger Things actor David Harbour, who plays Hopper, told GQ that the series is likely to start filming in 2023 and be released in 2024.

“I think we’ll [shoot] next year,” he said. “They’re finishing writing it this year, and they need to prep and stuff, so hopefully it’ll be next year.”

“I think that’s the plan. So it’d probably come out mid-2024, based on our track record.”
