AMD has confirmed that it plans to launch three Zen 4 "Ryzen 7000" products, which will include Raphael for desktops, Dragon Range for high-end laptops and Phoenix for lightweight gaming laptops.During its financial results for Q1 2022, AMD provided its latest plan, which provides an update of the plans for 2022-2023.The AMD Zen 4 core architecture seems to play a key role in powering not only one, but at least three client platforms, including Raphael for desktop enthusiasts, Dragon Range for Extreme Gaming Laptops and Phoenix for Thin & Light laptops.AMD Signs $ 3 Billion Loan Agreement - Records Record $ 5.9 Billion in First QuarterAMD has confirmed its Ryzen 7000 series, powered by Zen 4, which includes Raphael desktop processors, Dragon Range and APUs for Phoenix laptops.(Thanks for the pictures: TechTechPotato)The first platform to receive AMD Zen 4 treatment will be Raphael. The 5nm chips powered by Zen 4 will focus on the enthusiastic desktop segment based on the all-new AM5 platform, which offers both DDR5 and PCIe 5.0 and TDP features from 65W and above. The Raphael Desktop CPU platform is expected to launch at 2H 2022. More about the AMD Ryzen 7000 "Raphael" CPU here.AMD Ryzen 'Zen 4' Desktop CPU Expected Features:Today, a brand new Zen 4 product was confirmed, the Dragon Range. The new APU Dragon Range line is set to target Extreme Gaming laptops larger than 20mm, and based on what AMD said, they will deliver the highest core, thread and cache ever for mobile gaming CPUs.These will also include the fastest creative and productive performance in the history of mobile computing. The new Dragon Range will also be compatible with DDR5 and PCIe 5 and will include SKUs above 55 W.AMD Mero APU can be the basis for low-energy handheld devices with Zen 2 and RDNA 2 coresPrior to Dragon Range, AMD was said to introduce its Raphael-H suite, which will be based on the same matrix as the Raphael desktop, but will focus on high-performance laptops with higher numbers of cores, threads and caches. It is expected to contain up to 16 cores, which will be AMD's direct response to Intel's Alder Lake-HX parts, which have an 8 + 8 hybrid design for up to 16 cores. Finally, we have AMD confirming its Phoenix APU suite, which will use both Zen 4 and RDNA 3 cores. The new Phoenix APUs will support LPDDR5 and PCIe 5 and will ship in SKUs ranging from 35 W to 45 W. It is expected that the kit will be launched in 2023 and possibly at CES 2023. AMD has also pointed out that parts of laptops may include memory technologies in addition to LPDDR5 and DDR5.Based on previous specifications, it appears that the Phoenix Ryzen 7000 APU can still carry up to 8 cores and 16 threads with a higher number of cores exclusively for Dragon Range chips. However, Phoenix APUs will carry a higher number of CUs for the graphics core, increasing performance by a huge margin compared to anything the competition has to offer. All three parts will be designated as the Ryzen 7000 series. At present, this is all we know so far, but more details from AMD can be expected on the Computex 2022.Your email address will not be published.* indicates required fieldSave my name, e-mail and web address to this post. The remake of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has been handed back to Ubisoft MontrealLego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga in 8K Resolution with ReShade Ray Tracing Global Illumination is absolutely gorgeous
